Up until now we have been having a free run over BF3 learning how the game is working and where our strengths and weakenesses are.
Now we are entering PHASE ONE of S13 ZULU Unit for BF3. This requires that members with the unit actively participate in attempting to reorganise ZULU into the effective unit we used to see on the fields of BFBC2. How are we going to do this? I have outlined a number of steps and issues as this is largely a test run of methods to achieve this (Expect PHASE TWO to be a further refinement).
Known Problems and Solutions
- Servers are always full and we end up on different teams.
- Stay in the game and attempt to "Switch Side" when numbers allow within the "Team and Squad" menu.
- Maintain type chat comms as per standing orders so you can let people know whats going on.
- Voice comms are broken and unreadable
- BE ON TYPE CHAT so then you can organise breaking into smaller squads (better comms this way) or switch Voice Channel in "Team and Squad" menu to Team Channel.
- S13 Zulu Unit lack of organisation
- EVERYONE HIGHLY ADVISED to read Unit Standing orders on the blog page and encourage them for yourself and other team members.
- EVERYONE HIGHLY ADVISED to maintain type chat comms.
- Try to set up battlelog.battlefield.com and monitor unit page there. Not alot of people can do this so we are keeping the blog as the primary reference.
- How do I get input as a member
- Post your feedback to my PSN account or too the Zulu Unit page in battlelog and this will be posted to the blog.
- Encourage your team mates to adopt Unit Standin Orders.
- Please confirm your main BF3 user account for posting on the blog.
- All unit instructions are guides only not orders, it is your decision and effort wether to follow them. In other words you are not told how to play the game, we are here to MAXIMISE ENJOYMENT.
- Expect practice sessions in the not to distant future.
